this is replacement for one I lost. A huge saltwater trout is wearing it as
a lip ornament. These plugs are very effective on a calm water day.

I am an amateur spinner by the Mediterranean sea side in Turkey.
I want to catch a sea bass. But I haven't catch one untill now.
So I want to try the stuff I bought from you as it is top water and
Heavy lure that I can cast it long . The local people
Catching sea basses useing a live mullet which is 15 - 20 cm long.
Some people useing soft baits.

I bought the Chug Bug as I was looking for a topwater that I could use with
a straight retrieve without have to work it continuously. Sure I will 'pop'
it and 'rip' it but I was impressed with the Halco Roosta Popper and how it
works on a straight retrieve but the 105 is just a bit too heavy (38g) for
me and the rod that I have. So the Chug Bug 11 at 27g is a nice size and a
nice weight which I can throw all morning without wearing myself out.

I live in Alexandria, Virginia but I have a
friend that I served in the Marine Corps with in Patuxent, Md (we were both
flying A-4 Skyhawk jet aircraft early on (1970s) then Harrier jets later on.
We both retired from the Corps in 1997. my friend Mike has a 23 ft Grady
White that we use to fish the Chesapeake Bay for Striped Bass (or Rockfish).
The Chug Bug is a great surface lure and there is nothing more exciting
than fishing for stripers on top water. You have to get out there early
5-5:30 AM however. The bite normally only lasts 40 minutes to 90 minutes (if
the fish are there). Our fish are anywhere between 18 and 34 inches
(normally). 18 inches is the minimum size limit for keeping Rockfish on the
Chesapeake. Weights go anywhere between 2 and 24 lbs with 5-7 lbs being an
average weight for us. Occasionally we lose a Chug Bug (gets broken off on a
sharp gill plate or is a victim to a poorly tied knot). The latter was my
situation last Sunday and therefore the order I placed with you.
