Light wire for both fresh and saltwater fishing. Light wire presents livelier action of your bait and stealthy presentations. Mostly for light line fishing up to 25 pound test with larger size hooks.

Hi mate, i plan to use them for smoothhounds in the UK. i fish them on about 5ft of
40lb flurocarbon to a swivel then directly onto 45lb braid mainline, using a sliding
weight of around 8-10oz fished hard on the bottom in about 60ft of water fom a boat
just off the isle of wight. bait is whole "peeler" crab (crab that are in the
moulting process) or a whole hard backed crab. they are amazing sport and being
sharks take off like trains on light rods.

well, they are for my husband as a stocking stuffer. lol he uses them for
surf fishing for sharks and whatever else will hit, often rays or guitars.
he fishes strictly catch/release, and with the barb bent down, they are
perfect for it. you get a nice hookset in the corner of the mouth but you
are also able to release the fish without any lasting damage. he won't get
them for a while of course.

We only use owner hooks in all sizes. Mainly boat fish in SE area of WA
targeting Jew fish, pink snapper, samson fish (release-sport only) trevally,
king george whiting and squid. The number of species in area ensures not to
many quiet days. In September we are heading up north of WA to Exmouth to
target NW snapper, coral trout, red emperor, spanish mackerel, sailfish, big
trevally and whatever other suprises. We mainly catch and release only
taking enough for a feed using normal rigs, lures, plastics, poppers and
jigs.

I snell the hooks with 30# and use them for either live lining mackerel or
chunking from a boat.

this is a hook for fishing with live bait when the fish takes the bait it
takes only by pulling the line on the line he drag the hook that swivels and hooks
the fish at the corner of the mouth
