Perfectly balanced for a precise lifelike swimming action, these jigs prove irresistible to squid. Available in an array of colors and finishes, including cloth wrapped.

go to youtube, type in "Squid Fishing". Currently on the east coast of
Massachusetts, squids are migrating South to warmer water following baits fishing.
Ranging from 10 to 20 inches in sizes, roughly 1/2 to 1 lb. Very aggressive. Fun to
catch. We tie a Yo-uri jig to the bottom of the line and a lighter second squid Jig
about a foot above. Cast and let it drop and we would jerk it a couple of time fast
and let it drop again. Squid usually surround the Jigs and take turn hitting it.
They usually hit it as the jig drop. Once hook on you simply bring in the line
continuously not allowing for slack. We also use very light lines, around 10 to 12
lbs mono. that is all we do here on the cape.
Squid season, is March thru June, and September thru November. after dark is the
best with a light in the water or glowing jigs.

I use them to fish for squid and cuttlefish, from boat, using a rig with three
samples, the first sinker about 70-90 grams, and the other two above it, separated
about 30 cm between each decoy.
