To be honest I have only used a tail dancer once but my brother in law and
another friend who make up part of our fishing group have been talking up
the tail dancers for awhile. We live in North Queensland Australia - in the
tropics as you probably realize. We target the Barramundi and especially the
trophy fish - fish that are a meter plus in size. We target the big ones
mostly around deep rock bars hence the deep diving lures. Smaller fish are
found around snags (sunken trees etc). The rock bars are trolled as slow as
possible and the snags fished with casting and varied retries. We normally
step up the hooks to Owners. Let me know if you have the TDD11 as well -
some places have rock bars at 30 feet.
We generally get away about 3 or 4 times a year into the remote parts of the
Gulf of Carpentaria (google earth it) for 10 days at a time.
Have attached a photo of my brother in laws 127cm Barramundi he caught last
year in June on the Kendall/Holroyd Rivers. My biggest Barra is 128cm but my
wife has nailed a 130cm. Also have fished Lake Nasser in Egypt for the Nile
Perch - caught a 91lb on the troll and a 89lb on the cast but did not
measure but estimate around 140cm.

I catch in fresh water boat Catfish mostly rap and model slivar models are very
suitable and also bars magnum thanks.

I will use these lures for trolling on the river. I didn't have these models of
Rapala, so it is first experience with Tail Dancer, X-Rap and Husky. Now it is
winter in Russia, and I prepare my fishing arsenal for battle with fish =) Fishing
season will begin in May. I think these lures will help me with pike and zander. I
use PVC -boat with Suzuki 2.5 for trolling, and I hope I will not lose these lures
on the bottom)))) may be i'll buy more lures in you store 1-2 months later. Thank
