Year after year, the Super Shad Rap delivers, with trophy fish taken worldwide from the glacial lakes of Canada to the murky waters of the Amazon. The patterns and colors offer perfect imitation of favorite prey of fish. Whether talkin to musky maniacs or big water trollers, they all have one thing in common: the great fish-catching power of the Super Shad Rap.

This time of year here in Australia the big brown trout are gathering at the point
where the alpine rivers are running in to large alpine lakes and dams, waiting for
the rains and snow so they can swim upstream to spawn. The large males stake out a
spot in 60 - 70 feet of water and are very territorial and aggressive ,I have found
that rapala perch colored lures work best on the down rigger at that depth. Even
though there are no perch in these lakes the orange paint on the rapala lures is
ultra violet sensitive and gives of some fluorescence at that depth which I believe
mimics the golden and orange colors of other buck males causing the trout to hit
them. The strikes are not for food but strictly aggression to compete for the right
to breed first with hens full of roe.
The most effective lures are Rapala perch in F11 ,F13 ,F18 including jointed lures.
Average fish size is 24 -25inches,this type of fishing is only effective in late
Autumn early winter

We have some great fishing up here in Northern Indiana. Near me are some
of the nation's most densely populated muskie waters: Lakes Tippecanoe and
Webster. See the rresults from the 2013 Indiana Muskie Classic:

I think your sale to me was the shallow diving large yellow perch. I intend
to cast that above the weeds and pull muskie out of them on Lake Tippecanoe
and Webster. Also near me are some very good walleye rivers: St Joseph
River in Southwestern Michigan/Northen Indiana. Someone pulled an 11-pound
Walleye out of that river last year. Your lure should yield results on the
St. Joseph. I'll also throw your lure on the Tippecanoe River below
Monticello. Even though it's a bit big for the smallies we catch, that
river has a large number of pike and walleye so hope to hit those well. The
Rapalla Yellow Perch color works incredibly well on that river: So much
that we hit one fish for every three casts on a shallow diver 2" Rapalla YP
and then lost it and didn't have a back-up. I WON'T make that mistake on
the Tippicanoe River this year! When I bought yours I bought a number of
Rapalla YP in different sizes, shapes and depths from another ebay seller.
BTW, the Tippecanoe River in Indiana is an incredibly beautiful and
relatively unspoiled river and is ranked in the top 10 cleanest rivers in
the midwest. We consistently catch 14-18" smallies out of that river every
time we go. Catch a number of walleyes too.
I'll be taking your lure to Lake St. Clair north of Detroit in May. That
lake yields monster smallies and is a fantastic muskie lake so I'll cast
for smallies and hold on tight if I hook a Muskie in the meantime! Check

My son is the sales rep for Daiwa, Plano, Leatherman, Walther, (and a dozen
other outdoor lines) for Indiana and southern Michigan. So, we fish quite
a bit and I'll be doing more this year. I also have some friends who are
Muskie guides and we fish Lake Michigan every year for Salmon, Lakers, and
Steelhead. If you come this way, look me up. Would love to show you the
beautiful waters of Indiana. River float fishing is some of my favorite
fishing and the scenes and fishing structures are always changing. Let me
know if you come up. Proud to show you the beautiful fishing state of
Indiana!

I connect the super shad rap lures to all my fishing tools on board; then I ship costantly at the
speed of 3.2/3.3 knots per hour, caring to the dept and
the structure of the see water under me by GPS instrument. The lures reach the see
dept thanks to heavy Dacron wire and a terminal of 15-20 metres nylon wire.
The old lures often work better than new ones, because they follow the boat much
better.

Hello my friend .. I tell you that I have returned from my fishing trip and
lures that you have sent me have been the star of the day.
I've used them with a fairly steady retrieve and the rod tip up then dive to
lure About 1.5 meters. It really is a fantastic lure for "dorado fish".
I send a couple of pictures you can use it for whatever you want.
My faceboook with all the pictures is ..

I hope you enjoyed the photos and thank you very much for everything.

Rapala Super Shad with Rap, I fish for pike and zander in the Doubs (
River to
Franco-Swiss border). I cast fishing and trolling from a small boat.
I've caught several fine
fish with this lure, which is why I bought you two.

My son and I go to Canada over Labor Day every year and fish for large pike. We have
had excellent luck with Rapala super shads however the water is treacherous with rocks and
logs so we lose lures every year. These lures will be shared with us as Christmas
gifts. We mostly troll them, however we do do some casting.
