Year after year, IGFA records show that the Rapala Magnum is the world's number one saltwater hardbodied lure. More record fish have been caught with Rapalas than any other lure. Whether you are fishing with the shallow running floating models or the sinking CountDown variations, Magnums deliver the best performance for hardhitting saltwater game. Built tough to take the abuse of Blues, Tarpon, Tuna and Wahoo. And like all saltwater Rapalas, Magnums come fitted with Perma Steel rust-resistant hardware and VMC Perma Steel hooks for maximum life and performance in saltwater. You can be sure the Magnum is "Your Best Shot At A World Record."

I plan to slow troll for Wahoo in the East Cape in Baja California, Mexico next
month. I will be adding a 1" wire leader to prevent line breakage from teeth while
not affecting the lure's swimming action.

I will use the lure
land base and also trolling from a boat. I have purchased this lure mainly to got
land base from a spot 13hr north of Perth, western Australia called quobba station
where game fish can be caught from the rocks. Cant wait first time we headed there
so should be a good trip. Lures are the go up there so hopefully have luck with this
one.
