Mustad TG76NP-BN KVD Elite Triple Grip Treble Hooks - Size 2

My favorite bass crank bait is a yo zuri rattle n vibe. I swap both front and rear
hooks and replace with the ones I'm buying.

I have been using the KVD elites for a while now. They are a little pricey
but, but they are the best,and when you're spending $10 plus on a crankbait what's
an extra dollaror two. Stock hooks are usually ok, but i fish a lot of rocks and
shell beds and they are pretty hard on hooks. I have a pretty big tourney on the
Ohio in a few weeks and its probably going to be a crankbait bite. I've never used
the VMC sure set, but I've heard good things and interested to try them. Sometimes
the fish are fickle and want to bite short--I'm hoping these might help. Im really a
jig and worm guy, BUT 1.5 DDs have been working REAL well for me this year. I hope

Lipless crankbaits with huge # 2 hooks - I increase hook sets 5 to 1

i am getting in to semi pro bass tournaments and with no sponsors i am always looking for the best deals on the best products. the hooks i purchased from you are going on some crankbaits that i use a lot. mainly lipless crankbaits, squarebills, and flat sided divers. i have found what i believe is a great hook but i am trying pretty much all of the other brands just in case i am missing out on something. i also sell custom painted crankbaits locally and the hooks i end up not using get put on them. i have heard some great things about the kvd hooks, hopefully they live up to all of the hype.

These KVD trebles are the best upgrade/replacement hooks you can buy for crankbaits
and lipless baits.
Mustad used to make (still do?) short shank triple grip trebles that are good, but
these are even better.
The hooks' short shanks keep them from inter-tangling.

I will use replace the stock hooks on SK Red Eye Shad and KVD 1.5 crank baits. I will be fishing for large/smallmouth bass on Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia later this week. Water temps are approaching 50 degrees so I hope the crank bait bite will intensify.

You can go oversize with the shorter shank treble hooks without them catching each other and tangling up making the lure ineffective.

I usually use size 2 or size 4 trebles on my cranks
