The Mustad Big Game ultra sharp hooks are the best "J" type hooks out there for
catching pelagic fish. They are not too thick and heavy to weight down a sardine
bait and they have an off-center bend similar to a circle hook that promotes a
hook-set on the corner of the fish's mouth rather than in the gut as most "J" hooks
do. Unfortunately Mustad seems to have fazed out this hook in favor of others so
this particular model is now becoming more difficult to find.
