the hooks will be used as replacement/upgrades on crank baits to use for
fishing early run river chinook. Maybe a little over kill, but I like to run heavy
braid and be able to really muscle them away from the timber. We have a trip planned
next week, we'll be early but that just means the fish we do find will be full of
piss and vinegar.

I'm changing the hooks and split rings on Smithwick lures fishing for Walleye and
Stripers. The hooks that come with the lures get crushed and sometimes straighten
out.
