These 8/0 mustad treble hooks will be used to (legally) snag alligators, once I add some lead to them so
they'll cast farther.
Larry on 04/30/2013 07:59am
I use the 8/0 treble hooks for snagging paddle fish. I hook them in line with a
4 or 5 oz sinker on the bottom. I use a 12' Shakespearerod.

going up north fishing salmon sharks with cable leeders double 8/0 treble hook set up

James on 12/13/2012 07:47am
as an older retired guy, I am at that time in life to start checking off a few
things on the "Bucket List" a lot of us have. These hooks will be placed on the
rather large muskie baits I plan on using next summer, in northern Minnesota, in my
humble pursuit of that illusive species. I am also looking for more of those
oversize baits to add to my Muskie box. One never has too many lures!

Snagging spoonbill cat in Missouri the osage river they work great

Joan on 10/29/2011 04:37pm
We use them to snag spoonbill at Lake Red Rock in Pella, Iowa. Myself, my husband and my 13 yr old son all snag for spoonbill....love it lol...We also use them for different types of snagging tournaments.

I will be using these to snag Paddle Fish in the Yellowstone river.
Roger on 10/29/2011 04:32pm
I use them as replacement hooks to my larger muskie baits.
Jeff on 10/29/2011 04:29pm
i use them on big hard body baits for musky and pike, usually 3 of the 8/0 trebles per lure
George on 10/29/2011 04:20pm
I will use them for paddlefish. Got them earlier this week. The North Dakota quota was reached as has the quota up here on the Missouri above Fort Peck. The Yellowstone River opened up on the 15th May and the river is just starting to come up. The catch was real good yesterday and I'm thinking today as well. Wish I was there right now, but I hope to use your hooks on 28 and 29 May. It had been looking like runs may not be strong this year, but things have been great all around.
Scott on 10/29/2011 04:19pm
I use these 8/0 3551 Treble hooks paddlefish snagging in Montana. The 8/0's are big enough to do the job -- but also economical enough to break off and loose a few in the rocks or other structures.
