Ultra small with a bronze finish these super tiny treble hooks are perfect for trout fishing or anything else that requires the smallest treble hooks out there. Hard to find and with a price that can't be beat these little treble hooks have been a customer favorite!

I'm going to use the little trebles for trout fishing in remote mountain
creeks. You can't find #20 hooks in any of the local tackle stores
anymore, but I remember a time when you could buy them down to size 22, and
egg hooks that were that small also. Admittedly, if you dropped them, you
probably weren't going to ever find them again. But they were perfect for
the most petite presentations of dough bait and eggs in crystal clear, thin
water.

I plan to use these size 20 treble hooks as a trailer hook tied to the end of a tied
fly which is in turn attached to a hildebrandt spinner

I use the #20 treble hooks with a power egg and catch trout.
I have gone several times this season and have caught nine (9)
trout, 1 brook trout (18") 1 brown trout and 7 rainbow trout.
I use 6 lb test with a 3 foot 4 foot leader, a barrel weight (1/2 oz.)
and a good book!

The
hooks I bought from you are used for trout fishing. The #20 hooks work real
good on those 3" rubber trout worms which the trout go crazy for her in
missouri.

I've been trying to find these small size 20 treble hooks, since I moved from CA. I use them for trout. I use a
small light weight pole, small reel and 2lb test on the whole spool. Then I tie one
of these of the end. Cut a large night craweler in half and put the hook in the cut
part of the worm. The bronze matches the worm. Then just fly line it out. It works
the best if you can find line that matches the water. The trout can not resist it.
It just floats down slowly to where the are schooling. I catch my limit of 5 in 15
minutes every time. I've caught a 6lb trout with this setup and a 6-1/2lb catfish!
They always swallow it. Not once have I ever lipped one.

We'll be targeting trout stocked in a local pond by our state's Natural Resources
Department. So far, the trout have seemed to be extremely sensitive to the size of
the bait (Powerbait) presented to them, hence the need for the smaller trebles.

Hi use the small hooks for trout with power bait and also i fish the mississippi
river for catfish work well with stink bait

I intend to use the hooks for float fishing for
Perch, these fish I am sure communicate with each other and if you catch and
loose one that fish reports back to the shoal and that is the end of the
fishing in that particular spot, by using a small treble hook with small
bait such as maggot greatly increases the chances of a more secure catch.

We use the hooks when we go to Missouri Rainbow trout fishing in the spring or
early summer. A few of the State Parks stock the trout starting in March, its
amazing. We use 2lb test and these hooks. We then take the eye of the hook and
stick it into the power bait artificial egg. These hooks are so small that you can
get the eye all the way into the egg, only a small part of the bottom of the hook
shows.

I am a die hard fly fisherman but I sometimes use bait for
trout when I want to bring a few home for the skillet.. When I do I
always use Mustad 3551 trebles in size 20. I use them for power bait
making a tiny power bait ball. When I use salmon eggs the entire size
20 will fit inside the egg...It's perfect. Also I use them with night
crawlers, draping a little bit of 1/2 crawler on each hook point and
letting the rest hang free. Lastly and my favorite trout bait is a
small minnow. I hook 1 of the size 20 hook points up through the
minnows both lips from the bottom and let the other 2 points hang out
below the minnows mouth. Works great. Happy fishing and as
always...be safe!!! Again, thanks for putting up the hooks!!!

I use these hooks on IM-6 rod 1/80th / 1/4oz, usining nylon sewing thread
about 1 3/4 lb test, with 1/16th oz sliding sinker, secured with micro shot so that
I can adjust depth, using power bait, start about ten inches off bottom and adjust
in 4 inch increments until bites are consistant. With nylon thread let your drag
fight the fish.

I use a carolina rig with a sliding sinker that gets stopped 18 inches from the
hook. I prefer Berkly floating powe bait. The bait hovers 18 inches up from the
bottom of the lake. When a fish takes the bait the line follows as it slips through
the sinker. I ocaisionally loose a fish, maybe 1 in 100. Most of them land in a
skillet.

I use the tiny treble hooks in a local stream to fish rainbow/brooke
trout, I use an ultra light rod and reel, 2 lb test line, a very small
sinker, the treble hook and floating Berkley power bait. (Works great!)
Anne on 10/20/2011 07:03pm
I use them for trout, with 2lb. test line tied directly on the line and a split shot.
