Mustad 3551-RB Red Treble Hooks - Size 18

I use these hooks for dropper rigs for ice fishing jumbo perch. I take all the hooks
off of a big salmo chubby darter. The i tie a 2 inch dropper of 10 pound test and
attach to the bait and treble. Bait with a minnow head and go to town

I use the hooks mostly for spring crappie fishing running minnows under a float.

I use these size treble hooks main for catching pond perch and other small bait fish
such as skipjack. I use them on 8lb test on a shakespear ultra lite combo around
pickwick tn. I also use them when it gets hot on many other small lakes for when my
children go fishing with me as I have just gotten back from AFGHANISTAN. I need to
spend as much time with them as possible before I go back to work. the kids fish
with ZEBCO DOCK DEMONS spooled with 6 lb test and a 1/4 oz cannonball dropshot on a
sinker slide tied to a #9 swivel with an 18” leader down below that. the leader has
two treble hooks on it and I use power bait or crappie nibbles. they keep me busy
with bream and blue gill all morning and afternoons when we go. its a really good
experience.

I use mine for ice fishing on the bay for perch in Green Bay. I use them with my
automatic fisherman with a three way swivel with a small bell sinker off one end on
the bottom and the small treble hook off the other side about 6 inches off the
bottom, baited with a small minnow. I also use them on a small jig pole fishing for
crappie, bluegill, etc tipped with grubs or waxworms.

We use these hooks to fish with minnows. We thread our
minnows with a needle and put the hook in the vent/tail/poopie hole. We have
not used the red hooks b4 but we believe that the will help attract the
trout.
