I make jigs and soft plastic baits. I get hooks for a wide variety of places. I will use these hooks for a couple molds that I really like -- a Herring Head Underspin Jig head and a Freestyle Jig and a Diner Shiner swimbait jig. I do a lot of bass fishing, plus, I make jigs for members of my family (Father, Brother and Sister), a couple high school / college friends and a couple local fishing buddies.

I am definitely not into Jig making for the money, but it is a very relaxing hobby. I can make what I want and modify jigs and soft plastics so they are always new to the fish.

Look forward to getting these hooks

we have a tool and die shop and I love to fish for everything. once we have open
water I fish just about every day for every thing from gills to king salmon. in 2017
I ended up with 22 bass either over 20" or 5 lbs. (27 in 2016)

not bad for living in Michigan. I really struggle with the jigs that are available
to the consumer so I designed my own bass/walleye jig mold and did the first run on
it today. (I have built 2 before this) the jigs are better than I ever expected!!
they met the following needs

1 double angled gripper on the hook shank

2 a extra long lead shank for stability of the plastics

3 a flat face that the bait can set against on the head

these first 3 things allow me to glue the bait on the shank, that provides a much
better running bait and when I tested the adhesion of a 5"yamamoto grub to it
today you couldn't get the grub to budge without ripping the body of the grub!!!!
this will result in less messed up baits at the end of each cast and many more
fish per bait.

4 I made 4 different weight jigs with the same shank from .120 oz to .437 oz

5 I love mustad ultrapoint jigs and all these jigs can be poured with a 3/0 or a 4/0
hook.

I combined a lot of design features into one jig design and am excited to use them
on open water. I really like what u guys carry and in the past I used to use janns
tackle. I will always look to you guys for my hook needs.

when I get my order from you I will be pouring 2 to 3 hundred jigs. (im am close to
retirement and hopefully will use all of them before the LORD calls me home.

just another note I spend close to 600 on baits and tackle per year. not including
rods and reels.

I buy most of my stuff at tackle warehouse at 20 to 30 percent off when they have
there yearly sales.

I use them for tubes. Fishing for smallmouth on the Susquehanna river

Here in New Zealand lure fishing (sea) is relatively new but has really
taken off in the last few years. We cannot buy jig hooks or molds here and
the postage from Australian suppliers makes it uneconomical.

My daughter lives in Vancouver and gave me a mold made in Canada for
Christmas along with a few hooks which are fast running low so a search on
Ebay came up with yours.

I live on the Pacific Coast of the North Island and we launch our boats off
the beach and have some wonderful fishing for many species.

In a nutshell good quality hooks are hard to find so good on, you keep it
up.

I use these hooks to make 1/2

I've been fishing in local bass clubs for almost 25 years now. Been fishing some of
the local bass tournaments for the last 10 years or so. I mold the hooks I get from
you into jigheads for using with tubes baits. Mostly a 4 or 5 inch tube. I'm
actually friends with a couple local guys that have their own business selling the
tube baits that I use, (Xtreme Bass Tackle and Cruncher Baits). I also sell them
molded up to a couple small businesses, friends and many of the local guys that I
know. I live just a few miles off Lake St. Clair, north of Detroit, MI. Lake St.
Clair is one of the premier bass lakes in all of U.S. I believe the Bassmasters
tournament trail is coming back here again this year.

Now I have pruchased a DO IT Jig mold and that is why I have bough the
hooks from you.
Several Hooks are available on e-bay, but I wanted to buy a better quality
than EagleClow hook. In Hungary I always used Mustad hooks and I have good
excperiance with them.
Other hand, making Jig head by myself is cheaper and I can make Jig heady
by my demand.

The 4/0 jig hooks are used with a Do-it
football head jig mold.

I make bass lures for myself. This hook will be used for my hair jigs.

I like to fish a shakyhead usually 3/16 or 1/4. So I'm going
to make my own jig head hooks

No problem for me to talk fishing tackle!
I own the Glacier Bear Lodge in Yakutat, Alaska.
www.glacierbearlodge.com

I tie our jigs for Steelhead, Kings and Coho. We have a full line tackle
store at the lodge so I like to keep many styles and types of gear, but
Jigs are the hot lure for Coho especially. We just slam them on 3/8oz and
1/2oz jigs in the river and smaller ones for Steelhead.
I try to keep the prices down for the gear, I have the tackle for the
clients not to gouge them so I am always looking for deals to keep our
costs low.

Going to use the hooks in shaky jig molds

I sell mop jigs locally in upstate SC and these hooks are used on most of the jigs I use (football head).
Pete on 10/24/2011 08:09pm
I plan to use them in a do-it mold to make casting jigs for striped bass
below a damn on the Ohio river.
Dave on 10/24/2011 08:05pm
I've been using them in football jigs with chompers skirted grubs for smallies in
rocks/zebra mussels. As always I'm looking for the perfect hook. I'm hoping the
points will hold up better on these. My last batch of hooks were vmc and they
sucked. I straightened one on a big fish and the points dulled real easy.
