Limerick, bent shank, for "Gummimakk". Duratin coated. 1X long shank that is bent aside. Kirbed point. Open ring.
Great hooks for sand eel rigs and for various fluke rigs!

I use them on umbrella rigs with wire line. I usually use 10/0 hooks. A friend gave
me some 7/0's to try. I found when they hooked a rock they would bend enough that I
would be able to save the rig, straighten the hook and fish with it again. They
still will hold a large fish with no problem if the drag is not over
tightened.Captain FrankCharter Fishing in Connecticut at it's Best. Inshore and Deep

I will be using these
hooks for trolling for strikers and blue fish using an umbrella rig. I take the
hook and place a colored latex tube over it. Normally these tube hooks go for 5
dollars per 4 pack. Its much cheaper to build your own.

These 31022d Mustad Limericks will be tubed with various colors and
attached to old diamond jigs that have reached their original useful life,
i.e., lost most of their chrome plating. Certain color combinations of tube
and body have proven to be more effective in our area than chrome and tube
alone.

do alot of diamond jigging for stripers on long island, these are replacement hooks for the jigs. big blues and bigger bass bend alot of hooks on me plus the inevitable rust from the saltwater. i will probably need some 8/0 hooks soon so if these work out i'm sure you will hear from me again
