I thought I'd fill you in on why someone would from the other side of the world
would buy two small inexpensive lures of a particular color.
I've had a pack of 5 Williamson lures unused in my tackle collection for sometime
which I bought in Singapore some years ago during my travels.
I always thought they were a bit small, preferring to using larger lures and chase
larger fish.
Last weekend we went out fishing off Brisbane, Australia and I had heard that there
were a few juvenile Marlin about.
Aside from running my usual lure spread, I thought I might try a small skirt in the
shotgun position and by chance put the red/black out.
Well! It picked up 8 out of the 9 fish including small black Marlin and 20 lb Mahi.
It doesn't seem possible to buy this particular lure here without buying the
collection, but I found you selling it individually in different sizes in the
Internet.
I thought I'd get some replacements for the coming season ( summer just started down
here) just in case the one I have gets eaten!!
