Rapala X-Rap Magnum 10 - Bonito

i fish the lures mainly off the rocks on the east coast of australia
around sydney and south of here. this is considered a fairly dangerous
sport over here due to the large swells that run up the coast from the
south and easterly swells we get mainly in summer. due to the
temperate climate you can fish year round. i also troll the lures
behind my hobie kayak near-shore and in estuaries. the fish I target
are mainly pelagics, were get plentiful bonito, mackeral, southern
kingfish, tailor and occasionally yellowfin and bluefin tuna.

i have dozens of lures like these and dozens bigger.i use them on the
nsw south coast of australia trolling for bonito, kingfish, small tuna etc

Fishing is my hobby, and every few days I go fishing, whenever my family,
job and weather allows.
I get up early, 5-5.30AM, get on my small boat and circle around, mostly
trolling and fishing small fish, like mackerel and similar species. I use
mostly Yo-Zuri lures(crystal, and pinns), and from time to I try Rapala or
some no name, but at the end I finish with my reliable ones-yo zuri.
I have similar like one I ordered(my favorite), but it has one problem-it is
lure made for small speed, and this "blue" fish we catch require speed
4-5m/h, so when I achieve that speed lure start to jump out of water, and at
that point it does not catch... Deep diver I ordered is much better since it
can be trolled at high speed without problem.
Second thing, I saw internet forum form our neighbors Croats, and I saw my
favorite lure catching some first class fish, but when I asked details about
lure he pointed that it is deep diver version of mine model. So I have
decided to try it :)
