Interestingly enough, I will be using these to attach 1000' of 100 lb test
braided dacron kite line to a large kite carrying a GoPro for kite aerial
photography (see attached shot from around 500 ft.). Ballbearing swivels help keep
the twist out of the line and the coastlock snap is really needed to secure a big
kite that pulls hard. I suppose I could use them for fishing, but I'm a flyrod guy.
