for steelhead at winter ,
coho, chum, chinuk - at summer
just drifting under float in big rivers in Canada BC

I'm going to use them to tie flies for Australian Bass, they'll have big lead eyes
and fish like a jig.

truly appreciate it!

I use these jigs mainly for steelhead fishing here in WA. I pour my own
heads in 1/16 and 1/8 oz and paint them up. I then tie either basic yarn
tail jigs with a chennile body, or marabou jigs. The smaller low profile
jigs are deadly here when the water gets low and clear.

The larger jigs I will pour in 1/4 or 3/8 oz and use for salmon. I
generally tie them with marbou, but use bucktail as well. Toss them out,
let them sink for a minute and work them back. Pretty much all the salmon
species will take them but Coho and Pinks like them the best.

Many thanks, we use them to tie steelhead flies called the Kilowat, most
jig hooks like the Diachi ones are too fine wire for the Dean river fish
which are very strong. Its very difficult to source the 5316 in the Uk
