The Buck Shot rattle spoons are used in my area for lake trout summer
and winter.I fish the BWCA where live bait cant be used or taken in to
Canada. I use 6LB test ultragreen maxima line tied directly to the spoon
this helps the action of the spoon. The are jigged high... about a 3-4
foot lift and the spoon drops fast. The trout hit them hard and the
weight of the spoon lets you fish them deep 50-60 ft easy.
