These hook's are used by our fishing team in the Central Gulf for Tourny Snapper
fishing and the larger Demon hooks 13/0 and 16/0 are used for AJ's and Grouper, we
use the thin wire Demon hooks for Mangrove and trigger fish 2/0 and 3/0

My buddies and I primarily go for blue cats down here in the North Texas reservoirs,
and just started venturing away from our honey holes to compete in regional
tournament circuits. We usually drop 16 lines anchored, 8-10 while drifting, and
even though we all fish with a Santee rig, everybody has a preference on weights and
hooks. We started noticing that sometimes one of us would get most of the hits as
we moved to a new area, and pull hogs all day while the other two were catching box
fish or even getting skunked. Once or twice maybe luck, but when my buddy forgot
his leader book and borrowed one from me he landed a 33# blue on his next cast,
right after I pulled in 2 high 20s. We figure there has to be something to that
specific hook, in that depth and conditions, at that time.

As of the first of the year we began recording details on every catch: time of day,
weather and water temp, anchored or drifting, depth, type

I go offshore fishing in Tampa, Fl. We will go fishing overnite in search for
Mangrove Snapper (related to the Red Snapper). I will use live pinfish as bait
and these hooks are ideal for these fish. I will use a 40# line with a 30#
leader line. Mangrove Snapper are one of the smartest fish in that if they see
or notice the fishing line, they will sometimes not take the bait. These mustad demon ultra point circle
hooks size 7/0 are ideal because after baiting them with the live pinfish, they
