The Jointed Deep Husky Jerk swims with the classic Rapala "wounded-minnow" wobble and an exaggerated tail action that fish can't refuse. Whether you're working a slow, back-trolling crawl or a high-speed pass, this lure runs straight and true. Slow-sinking properties allow this lure to be fished at any depth. Tough plastic body house internal rattle for added attraction.

I have been trolling a small lake near me for
Walleye. They stock the lake with them and down south no one knows how good
eating they are. Being from up north growing up on lake erie I no them very
well. Bass are fun to catch but still taste like a bass!! Just trying to
add to my selecting of colors for the hard to catch fish..

Thanks - the six Rapala JDHJ-8 arrived safely today 😊

I have not tried this model before, but last year I talked to another fisher at our
little local river (Kolding Ã…/River Kolding) where we fish for sea run brown trout
(sea trout). He used for these sea trouts and told that it in his opinion is one of
the best models. He used it in fire tiger. So I am quite sure, that I can catch some
on it - perhaps here in the end of the season og next year.

I have used many kind of Rapalas for sea trout, such as Original Floating,
Countdown, Jointed, Countdown Jointed, Shad Rap, Tail Dancer, Minnow Rap and Minnow
Spoon together with Salmo Minnow and Nils Master Invincible. Strong colors (FT, HT,
GFR, SFC, RCL, CLN etc.) for dirty water and more natural colors (S, G, B, RT, T
etc.) in clear water. The Salmo Minnow is also very good in the discoutued color GMO
(and also other colors of course). The sizes are normally 5-9 cm.

I think my new JDHJ-8 will be fished the normal way with casts down and across the
little river and fished in across the river and up along the bank without stops. But
perhaps I will also cast it upstream and fish it deep and quickly down along the
bank. It sometimes works with a little Shad Rap in Goldfish-color.

We also use spinners such as the original Vibrax and Mepps Aglia in size 2-4 -
please see picture 😉
