I use Rapala wobblers to catch halibut, it started by coincidence when trolling for
salmon this spring. when lowering the downrigger ball to 4 meters abowe seabed, the
lure was surprisingly attacked by a halibut. As the halibut is the ultimate fish
for an angler to catch,(at least here in Norway) salmon trolling was now switched
out with halibut trolling for the rest of the season, and seasons to come :)
A month ago another angler caught an 104 kg halibut on a StrikePro wobbler, that's a
record for halibut trolling in Norway, the angler record for halibut in Norway is
251 kg.
