Big poppin'. Big splashin'. Big bassin'. The X-Rap® Pop brings X-Rap attitude to topwater. Starting in a tail down position, its arched body shape sets lure up for a large kerplunk-pop and splash with every snap, even the slightest tug and the X-Pop comes to life. With the X-Rap textured translucent body, internal holographic foil, 3D holographic eyes fish can’t resist. Internal long cast mechanism allows you to fish vast amounts of water without changing spots. Internal rattle adds to the noise and commotion. VMC® black nickel hooks with flash feather teaser tail seal the deal with reluctant fish that are taunted to strike during slight pauses between snaps. With quick tip down snaps, you can even get the X-Rap® Pop to walk-the-dog!

Well, I like to fish for bass, and now that its the fall transition the smallies in
the lake I fish will be heading into the shallows and on calm days, early mornings
or late evenings topwater baits are phenomenal. Poppers in particular do well on my
lake.

When I first got the X-Rap Pop I was a little bit concerned about it. That it wasn't
going to perform as good as the Skitter Pop. But, I was wrong. This lure even beats
out the Skitter Pop (I think). Yes it does float a little bit slow back to the
surface but it is worth the wait ^_^
Because when you twitch your rod, you will hear that MASSIVE bubble sound that
triggers every fish to bite! And when you are quickly twitching your rod you will
get that amazing Walk the Dog action." I haven't fished with the X-Rap Pop so much
yet and I have only caught one fish with it. A small perch was the fish that took it
and I was fishing the bait very slow getting that loud bubble sound.

This particular Rapala x pop lure I use it as a "fish locator" or when there's
a lot of timber on the bottom. I work my way down with spinners, crankbaits, jigs
and softplastics. With this popper you jerk it, wait like two seconds, then do it
again, or I use the "waking the dog" technique, that works for bass and alike. For
pikes or fast swimmers I reel it back burning fast. I hope it helps :) take care, I
will buy from you again in the near future :)
