I usually have those lures for trolling in sea water near the coastline. It is
possible then catch anchovy, Spanish mackerel, bonito, wahoo dolphin and some other
predators.
I also use them by spinning around sea structures during the winter, when the
anchovies are present.

I always fish from float tube in reservoirs,
mainly black bass and pikes. In summer, I also fish lots of carps (Cyprinus
carpio) with this lures, I know it is not normal, but in the place I go
fishing it happens. My equipment is very light, a Shimano Spinning Road and
reel. I also have casting, but I use it less. Normally I use stop and go,
near submerged trees.
My favorite lures are rapala Clakin Minnow, Tail Dancer and X-Rap, these
are the first not shallow I buy (of this model, I have hundreds of lures of
all deeps.

these x-rap deeps will be getting used in the tropics of australia chasing
barraumundi a fish which lives in tidal rivers. They live in snagy country , these x
raps are great for casting into the areas .

At the end of winter we have a lot of smaller bait fish in Sydney Harbour.
Big fish push these onto the surface. I will use the surface lure to cast
into the boil of white/translucent bait fish. The smaller Rapala Ghost white
is a great match. I also troll these in shallow dive 2" and 3" units. The
deep diver I just bought off you will help with my lure spread off the boat
as some fish will feed deeper.
Would you believe I fish these around the Sydney Opera House from Oct-March.
Fishing is great and it is a stunning back drop.
I will take off the trebles as the fish I target will straighten them. I put
on small single hooks. The lures seems to cope with around 5kg of drag once
I trick up the hooks. I need this to pull back these fish and stop them
busting me off.
I specifically need translucent small lures as the big fish will only target
this type of lure (match the hatch). Rapala makes great lures that are
consistent performers.
